ActionScript Quickie: Check for Required Params

You ever need to test that a bunch of variables are not null/empty/true? Here is a quick and dirty way to do it in ActionScript 3.0:

private function validArgs(...args):Boolean{
return args.every(function(arg:Object, ...crap):Boolean {
return arg ? true : false; });
}

Usage:

var firstName:String = ...
var lastName:String = ...
var iq:int = ...
var friends:Array = ...
validArgs(firstName, lastName, iq > 100, friends.length);
